For those who don’t know, Google is working on keeping up with the real time web, and as such, is aiming to innovate their system so it updates their indexes faster (allowing it to serve up fresher content more quickly). You can actually test their innovation, which they call Google Caffeine.
What I am wondering, though, is how much of the actual page ranking algorithm have their changed? If, for example, it’s not much, could one use Google Caffeine as a way of testing the results of their SEO efforts before they actually took place in Google’s big daddy index (not the technical term)?
