The Age of Conversation was an amazing book with an amazing, insightful list of authors. It could have never been done if it weren’t for Drew and Gavin.

The book also sparked a huge social gathering, the Blogger Social ‘08 in NYC.

Best of all, Drew and Gavin are bringing people back together to produce a new book. If you aren’t familiar with the first book, pick it up. You won’t regret it. All profits go to the Variety Children’s Charity, so we aren’t making a cent on this. These books are being produced for the pure purpose of sharing knowledge, connecting with people, and sharing in experience.

We need something from you all, though. If you want to be a part of this book, or involved with its outcome, go vote on what the book is about. Part of this process is involving, sharing, and providing insight. So it’s only appropriate if you all tell us what kind of information and thoughts you’d most like to receive.

In the mean time, I hope the past authors contribute again so I can get to know them even more this time :) For those curious, the past contributors were [a group of amazing people]:

Nathan – I love the title of your post. What does happen after a new age? Where have we gone in the 12 months after AofC hit the world? Looking forward to the new book answers some of those questions.

Glad you liked the title of my post, Toby :)

It’s definitely going to be exciting to see how the new book addresses the question.

Nathan, thanks for getting the word out. I agree with Toby – great title! Happy 2008!

I think, technically, eras are subdivisions of eons…but that denotes a much longer period of time. The word “era” is probably more catchy, anyway.

Here’s to a great Age of Conversation 2.0!

Thanks, Nathan, for keeping this conversation going! I look forward to making new friends this time around, plus keeping up with the “old” ones. :-)
