• On Dec. 10 Amazon said it had its best e-commerce shopping day ever. When looking through their stats, there are some surprising numbers. The one I found particularly awesome was about the Wii.

Nintendo’s Wii is an example of what happens when you focus on creating an innovative product people want. Amazon’s stats show that. Sonys Playstation 3 is the opposite of that. The PS3 looks more like what most products today are- a company pushing their agenda. I don’t know about you all, but I would rather develop products like the Wii- a purple cow, as Seth Godin says.

Amazon.com sold Nintendo Wii systems at approximately 17 per
second when they were in stock.

That’s flipping amazing. I’ve been looking for one for months and can’t find one. By the time I get one there will be something newer, better. Ahhh, technology, how I love thee.

lol, that really is the bane of technology, isn’t it?

I was lucky in that my room mate snagged one. Though now I spend all my time playing rockband.
