    Younger Nephew Liam and I

One of the downsides of living on the other side of the US is I don’t get to see my nephews (or my family) but a few times a year. It made me happy, though, when my nephew Liam (2 years old) came over and plopped down in my lap for some good ‘ole book reading with Uncle Nathan.

To make a comment, one thing that amazes me is that Liam, even at 2, already has a completely distinct personality – he’s a total jokester. Contrasting that with his older brother, Gavin who is coming on 4 and is quite serious, I can see Liam is going to be giving Gavin quite the time. Still, I wouldn’t have thought I’d see such distinct personalities at such an age. It’s really neat :)

Sorry about the over exposure. I used my HTC Tilt to take the picture and still haven’t mastered the settings.

I know what you mean. Every time I hang out with my nephew I am freaked out because his personality has formed so much already. He’s a total goofball. I try to explain it to my sister, but she doesn’t get it because she sees him every day. I guess I just assumed that he wouldn’t a personality at his age…it’s crazy to me.
