Rockband
November 25, 2007 – 6:04 amI purchased Rockband on thanksgiving. I played Guitar Hero I & II extensively and really enjoyed it, but as a drummer I always wished they had “Drum Hero”. Well, Rockband is a better solution to that. It’s guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. As such, I have more or less sunk about 23 hours into the game since thanksgiving. It’s a glorious game. I’m especially fond of it since as a college student I can’t exactly have a drum kit in my apartment (and even if I could I would piss off the neighbors). Rockband provides a great outlet for my pent up drum lust, though!
Anyway, I am not just posting to talk about how much I’ve been enjoying Rockband (and I have). Rather, I figure I would inform anyone who might read this and might pick up Rockband to check out ScoreHero for Rockband. It’s a site with a wealth of info on the drums for Rockband, including note charts for all the songs. Additionally, they’ve got some great posts on how to fix your snazzy Rockband guitar (the strum bar has been giving a lot of people grief).
