“BA/BS degree. Please no MBAs.”
At least that’s what the job description for Product Manager over at Ning says. Not sure what to think about it, but since at this point I am not planning on getting my MBA, that’s good encouragement! I’d much rather launch into an internet startup (or another one, since I’m already in one) out of college and put my skills to a full time use (rather than part time semi-after-thought). Still, I am curious on their reasoning.
I bring the above to you as a a Snackbyte. After reading Deb’s concept of a snackbyte, the purpose of Tumblr immediately came to mind. I suppose Snackbytes are more appealing than having an entirely new place to try to publish and control content. Unless you’re focusing specifically on hyper content, I guess. I’m not sure where I’m going with all that (it went off into the notion of hyper content and whether it’s better to combine hyper content wit regular blog content or separate the two into two separate feeds, giving tidbits of the long content in the hyper content feed, etc… but I figure I’d spare you for now).
