Lame Slogan? That’s right.
October 9, 2007 – 4:19 pmI was in Wendy’s the other day and saw a picture of a guy with long, ugly, red pigtails. At first I was confused as to why on earth there was such an atrocious picture in Wendys to begin with. I looked down, hoping to glean some sort of insight from the slogan below. What did I get?
“That’s right.”
“What’s right? That’s retarded.”
“That’s right.”
I refused to believe a slogan could be that crappy, so I looked around for what I hoped to be a saving grace for their sake. What did I find? This isn’t verbatim, but I kid you not “Our burgers are never served frozen. That’s right.”
What the hell? Did I miss something? Are burgers usually served frozen? Was there something with Wendy’s where they had an issue of frozen burgers being served? If so, throwing that in their is completely moronic.
Did I miss the newest wave of marketing garbage? I think Wendy’s hired the same marketing firm as Radio Shack. We just need to throw in a vacuum cleaner company like Oreck and mix them with the same marketing firm and we can get a fantastic combination of idiocy.
